These days Samsung started rolling out an update on the One UI version on their smartphones.
Currently, most of Samsung’s flagship phones are running One UI 2.1, and less running the older version. However, I think you will not be able to receive the 2.5 version if you didn’t have version 2 (minimum)
Below are a few features on the 2.5 that I noticed for the time being:-
1. On Samsung Keyboard, a new link have been added to easily share YouTube videos. I found this very useful 😃
2. On the Camera, especially on the Video pro mode, you can see -on the top right corner- the video size/aspect ratio that you are currently capturing.
3. On the Camera, on the Video setting, a new aspect ratio have been added (22:9) to the Rear Video size setting. This one is nice since you can play the Video as a full screen without punch the screen with two fingers to enlarge for a full screen
4. On the Messages app, you can now edit the Categories that have been previously created, by clicking on the three dots and then Edit.
5. On the main App screen, on the three dots, they removed the Customization Service from the Finder setting… Which basically it was not important to have in this screen, since it is available in the phone setting under Privacy.
